PostPilot Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PostPilot, provided by the operator of skyaurelia.se, handles information when you use the application.

  1. Information PostPilot processes

Depending on the functions you use, PostPilot may process:

• Your connected social-media platform and account name
• Platform account identifiers
• Access and refresh tokens provided after you authorize a connection
• Images, videos, captions and hashtags that you upload or create
• Scheduled publication dates, times and publication status
• Prompts and instructions submitted to AI-generation services
• Technical error information needed to operate and troubleshoot the application

PostPilot does not request or store your social-media passwords.

  1. How information is used

Information is processed to:

• Connect accounts that you authorize
• Create, preview and schedule social-media posts
• Send approved content to selected social-media platforms
• Generate AI-assisted images and text when requested
• Maintain the publishing queue and display publication status
• Diagnose errors and protect the application

  1. Local storage

The desktop version of PostPilot stores its database, connected-account tokens, uploaded media and generated content locally on the computer where the application is running.

Anyone who can access that computer or the PostPilot application folder may be able to access this information. Users are responsible for protecting their computer, application folder and configuration files.

  1. Third-party services

When you choose to use connected functions, relevant information may be sent to third-party services, including:

• TikTok, for account authorization and publishing
• Meta, for Facebook and Instagram authorization and publishing
• OpenAI, for requested AI-assisted content generation

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. PostPilot only sends information needed to perform the function requested by the user.

  1. Legal basis

Where applicable under data-protection law, information is processed because:

• It is necessary to provide the service requested by the user
• The user has authorized a connection or requested a specific function
• Processing is necessary for legitimate operational and security purposes
• Consent has been provided where consent is required

  1. Data sharing

Personal information is not sold.

Information is shared only with connected service providers when necessary to provide a requested function, comply with legal obligations or protect the security and rights of users and the service.

  1. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored posts and media remain on the computer until they are deleted through PostPilot or the application files are removed.

Connected-account information remains in the local PostPilot database until it is removed or the local database is deleted.

Users may also revoke PostPilot’s access through the settings of the relevant social-media platform.

  1. Security

Reasonable measures are used to limit unnecessary access to information. However, no computer system or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

API keys, access tokens and configuration files must not be published or shared with unauthorized persons.

  1. User rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information.

Because the desktop version primarily stores data locally, users can remove scheduled content through PostPilot or delete the local application data. Platform permissions may be revoked directly through TikTok, Meta or the relevant provider.

  1. Children

PostPilot is not intended for children who are not legally permitted to use the connected social-media platforms or provide the required authorization.

  1. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when PostPilot, applicable laws or connected services change. The effective date will be revised when material changes are made.
